Monopolies in many cable TV markets could end under House-passed legislation that supporters said would increase competition and drive down prices.

I'm confident the Repos'll put the kaibash on any consumer-friendly legislation when the time comes. But imagine it for a moment: Lower cable rates... ! Whew!!
