I know my opinion is not shared by many, but I think we have already won the Iraq war.
The U.S.
1. Beat the Iraqi army
2. Occupied all of Iraq
3. Overthrew Saddam's government
4. Helped install an acceptable government
5. Ensured that Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction.
I.M.H.O., we won. Mission accomplished. Most Americans and most Iraqis want U.S. troops OUT of Iraq.
Why are we still occupying Iraq? Could it have something to do with all the oil in the ground?
