using the lord's name in vain...

... this being what was meant in der Bible:
"I'm like, OK, God, if there is an open door for me somewhere, this is what I always pray, I'm like, don't let me miss the open door. Show me where the open door is."
"I'm like, here's the open door, Sarah," said God. "The one at the far side of the bridge to nowhere, leading to that ice floe over there, okayyy? Like, just go on."

And then there was light. And it was good.

Update: Matthew 6:5-6
5"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full.

6"But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."
