Republican Offenders

Needless to say, I had to inquire, and that blogger challenges repubs to produce their own list.

Two things come to mind: First, moral turpitude isn't an issue for democrats--they don't see anything wrong with what Gerry Studds or his repub counterpart (guy from FL, forget his name. Moran???) did. Fact is, democrats are indifferent or even proud of their foibles. Tip O'Neill admitted to voter fraud in his autobiography, but if it serves the "greater good" then its okay.

Second, the blogger queries whether repubs are lazy. Heck no, the reason we can't do it is because we aren't lazy. Someone has to have a job and pay taxes to fund his free time hobbies.

But G, if it is any consolation, I have long theorized that this country is moving to the left, and it will be an inexorable shift. The ideals that many of us hold to as "american" are dead or dying, and in my lifetime, we will be living in the United States of Europe, or worse yet, Oceana.

I seriously have to look into remote rural farmland held by a partnership, and offshore accounts (with liberal use of the portfolio interest exemption). Whether or not we get President Obama, it's coming, and if he gets in, it is coming even sooner. Of course, I am mindful of the last page of Animal Farm.
