---------- Update: Adam Cote, the DINO not on the Flintstones, can go back to being a Republican now. Maine Dems nominate Chellie Pingree, a pro-Impeachment candidate.

a friend expressed an interest in buying farmland in Maine. I told him to hold off, lest the anti-property rights crowd take over
only reason to hold off now is the market's still going down... with foreclosures climbing at 50% higher than of last year tells me mortgage companies and banks, with abaondoned property and a considerably slower cash flow, will be looking to unload houses and land for -- how you americans say -- a song!
I think G is right on this one - we are holding off on buying our house because we've been told it's clear houses will depreciate by the end of the year in South Florida back to normal levels. meaning, you will pay for what a house is actually worth - not what the artificially inflated market would have you pay now.
We patient ants are getting ready for our picnic. the crumbs are finally falling... :)
