You Want Peace? Work For Justice!

This news out of California is tremendous, but it may be sublimated given the timing during the New Orleans Aftermath story; not unlike a day in 1973 when the Supreme Court decided an obscure little case called Roe v. Wade -- the same day LBJ died. But just as Roe has been fought over these 30-something years, and will continue to be so for years to come, so shall whatever case to be inevitably handed down that addresses Gay Marriage vs. The Rights of The Backward States to maintain their primitive cultures.

On that latter point, I say "tremendous," as one who, in his youth, was cartoonishly phobic. But I'm here to tell you now that evolution is a scientific fact and I know equal protection under law when I see it.
